Stop spending on non-essential activity. Spend on what matters most. Create environments in which people can succeed, and stop trying to be all things to all people.

I do not support the proposed run-way extension at Wellington airport. I am sceptical that it will bring the promised benefits and think it is not a smart investment.

Less emphasis on 'positioning ourselves as a globally competitive cultural destination' and globally competitive cycling destination.
More emphasis on continuing to make Wellington a better city for health, housing and green spaces.

Rates are expensive in Wellington compared to other centres, even after factoring in water (in the case of comparison with Auckland) yet we get much fewer services. I encourage you to review areas of expenditure closely and develop a plan that better reflects a more regional approach rather than embark on ribbon cutting activities such as the Movie Museum and Light Rail.

Wellington us well overdue for an upgrade. I'm extremely excited with this proposal and strongly support in getting Wellington upgrade. Build casino and sky tower, New roading, international airport, cut down all bushes around Wellington CBD by cutting down unnecessary tress and make it look tidy and pretty GO GO GO YAY

According to the Council's 10 year forecast for its level of total borrowings , the city's borrowings will nearly double in the next 7 to 8 years. This is too high , and every effort should be made to keep the total below $1bn.

I would like to see Wellington City Council play a leadership role among local authorities in New Zealand by working with Wellington's family and sexual violence support agencies and the community to prevent and address sexual abuse.

Just as we led on nuclear-free and the Living Wage, we can lead on this issue.

Higher housing density brings down rents, making our money go further, and decreasing stress.

Please spend less money to keep rates down.

Wellington should not be looking to grow forever, but where it will grow it needs to be smarter about it.

We need to make active transport a priority, and make public transport the best other option to move around our city.

The council needs to read look at many if the private roads in Wellington. Residents on this properties get second class services and do not get a rates discount to reflect this. It seems unfair
