I strongly support Wellington Zoo's funding bid to bring snow leopards to Wellington. Wellington Zoo's commitment to animal welfare and conservation has greatly improved in recent years, and further funding to upgrade the Zoo ensures it remains a top class visitor destination.

Nothing is more important to my family than finding a house of our own we can afford. Opening up public transport to service currently under-serviced suburbs would make a huge difference to where we can afford to buy, to continue to meet our work and community needs. Broadmeadows is an example of a suburb we can't afford to live in because we would need to drive to work, and perhaps buy another car – which would also increase congestion and pollution. This should be considered as part of the WCC's plans for housing and transport.

Cycling infrastructure and cycle safety is incredibly important and needs to be fast-tracked in order to ensure congestion is lowered by moving people out of cars and onto bicycles.

Accelerate construction of safe cycling infrastructure, especially on routes that people currently cycle on (despite currently being unsafe) such as from Newtown to the city.

The Council and staff do a great job in general and I thank you all for your contribution to the community.
I see that the Council appears more united and less partisan which can only be a good thing and reflects well on the leadership of the organisation.

Any charges during the weekend car parking should also mean reduction in the bus/train fee. I understand greater wellington regional council looks after public transport such as trains and buses. However, i would rather the money that is raised from the car parking be used to subsidise trains and buses. This would also lower emission as well.

The cycleway development does not need to be accelerated and any cycleway should be considered carefully, and that it should be considered holistically. The movie museum is not required, as this would largely benefit overseas tourists and not local/regional visitors. A higher level of investment in festivals in the city would be much more appreciated than movie museum.

Would like to see the proposed Khandallah pool upgrade proceed. This facility is well used by the Community and investment will ensure it's future for the Community.

I disagree with using any council money to extend the Airport Runway

Prioritise infrastructure investment for active modes of transport - e.g. cycling, walking, running - alongside public transport.

This is a small, connected city. Safe pathways are important to keep it so.

Forget the airport runway extension.
Keep rates increases BELOW inflation for a change.
