Support for mountain biking development in and around Wellington is a massive tourism opportunity. The development of Makara Peak and other areas will do wonders to help Wellingtonians, and encourage visitors from around NZ and beyond.

Selling off assets to build housing is short term thinking. Expanding the airport runway is 20th century thinking. Building on the Miramar Peninsula when green space is essential to the planet, and sea levels are rising seems madness. The peninsula should be Wellingtons equivalent to New York's Central Park, for decades to come. Wellington needs to forget medium density housing and go straight to high density done well, rather than the current overcrowded infilling so a rethink of urban planning is a great idea.

Wellington needs better roading so it doesn't become like Auckland. Also needs bigger runway at airport. Be good to be NZs first city to legalize cannabis too.

Council employees to be more customer focus and helpful and not to have a focus on just regulations and policies that may be an obstruction for progress. Introduce transparent feed back from rate payers and have them published regularly

I strongly support the funding allocated for the coastal resilience work associated with the Worser Bay Boating Club rebuild project.

Affordable housing is the biggest problem I see, and not enough housing. Seeing people begging and rough sleeping through winter in Wellington is no joke, its telling you something is broken and in my opinion, if the people are not housed or getting access to housing that they can afford then the system is broken. I am very wary of the employment of private developers to solve this issue.

To deter overcrowding in this city I would like to see 'some' government organisations/businesses be encouraged to move/not have their head office(s) in the capital or big cities. It will help build up more rural areas, create other businesses, because of demand, better infrastructure eventually being needed, as well as encourage people to move out as well. We, unfortunately, have to go where the work is, if it's all here, then this housing crisis will never get sorted.

NZ Is certainly not clean and green compare to other countries who lead the way. Wellington can be an example of how New Zealand should look after it’s environment- Just look at the amount of rubbish lying around the streets grassed areas and seaside. We can do much much better and we should be seen to do so. This should involve community as much as council as it is all our responsibility

Councillors and city officials should always have it at the back of their mind that it is largely ratepayer money they are spending, so they need to be prudent with these funds

I love how you guys reach out to the community. Whoever's reading this, thank you so much to you and the entire council for all the hard work that goes on. Keep safe.
